Chapter 01

StatSion turns a task that traditionally takes a financial analyst days — pulling data from Xero, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics, then modelling it into a board-ready strategy report — into something that finishes in under five minutes.

Chapter 02

The Challenge

UK professional services firms sitting on data spread across half a dozen platforms don't have a data problem — they have a synthesis problem. Someone still has to manually pull numbers from every tool, normalize wildly inconsistent column naming across sources, run the statistical modelling correctly, and package it into something a partner board will actually trust with capital decisions. Doing that by hand doesn't scale past a handful of clients, and getting the statistics wrong isn't a cosmetic bug — it's advice a firm might act on.

Chapter 03

Our Approach

As a machine learning development services project, we didn't build a dashboard wrapper — we built five specialized engines that mirror how an analyst actually thinks: Normalisation, Statistical Analysis, Financial Modelling, Probability & Risk, and Forecasting. Architecturally, this was a Python FastAPI development project paired with a Next.js frontend and PostgreSQL for structured storage, with one-click OAuth integrations handling the messy reality of connecting to multiple third-party platforms without asking users to manage API keys manually.

Chapter 04

The Solution We Built

  • Multi-source data ingestion — 8 live integrations (Xero, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Search Console, LinkedIn Ads, Stripe) plus CSV/Excel/PDF/JSON upload, with automatic normalisation across 300+ column-naming conventions
  • 18-metric statistical engine computing mean, median, skewness, VaR, CVaR, and Pearson correlation per data column
  • 5-type risk detection engine flagging concentration risk, churn signals, revenue volatility, VaR downside, and growth gaps with severity ratings
  • Forecasting engine using Prophet with an ARIMA fallback to project revenue 12 months out with 95% confidence intervals
  • Automated strategy report generation — an 8-section, boardroom-ready PDF with executive summary, risk cards, forecast charts, and an execution plan
Chapter 05

The Outcome

Every recommendation StatSion produces cites the actual underlying statistics — no hallucinated conclusions, no manual modelling effort, and no consultant invoice for a report that used to take days. For businesses looking for an AI and business intelligence development partner — whether the goal is internal analytics tooling or a client-facing analytics SaaS product — StatSion is proof this team can take "we have data everywhere" and turn it into a forecasting product people trust with real capital decisions.
