Quick Gyan – IGNOU Study Management

Quick Gyan is a study management tool built exclusively for IGNOU BCA students to organize coursework, access study material, and prepare for exams — replacing what was likely a scattered mix of WhatsApp groups, shared drives, and outdated forum threads with a single browser-based interface built specifically around IGNOU's actual curriculum structure.

Built on Next.js and deployed on Vercel, the tool prioritizes simplicity for students who need to manage academic workflows without a steep learning curve — a recurring requirement in custom web application development for education clients, where end users won't tolerate a complicated interface no matter how powerful the backend is. Rather than building a generic LMS, we scoped it tightly around the actual IGNOU BCA curriculum across all six semesters.

This is a good example of scoped, purpose-built software over generic platform adoption: rather than forcing students to adapt to an off-the-shelf LMS's assumptions, the tool was built around one program's actual structure.
