eMVee is a premier dining destination in Lamka, Manipur, and we built them a mobile app to bring their local and multi-cuisine menu directly into customers' pockets — letting diners browse dishes, place delivery or pickup orders, and stay current on new menu items, all from a native mobile experience.
The Challenge
Food and beverage apps live or die on a handful of details: how fast the menu loads, how frictionless checkout feels, and whether order-status updates are timely enough that customers trust the app over calling the restaurant directly. Without those details right, a restaurant's own branded app can't compete as a real alternative to third-party delivery marketplaces that take a cut of every order and own the customer relationship instead of the restaurant.
Our Approach
As a restaurant mobile app development company, we built this on React Native and Expo, giving eMVee a genuinely cross-platform Android and iOS app from a single codebase rather than double the engineering cost of separate native builds. The backend runs on Node.js and MongoDB, handling order management, menu data, and user accounts, with Tailwind CSS powering a clean, fast-loading interface.
